*Information for Current / Former CTSA Patients
Our Research Intern policy is informed by the APA code of ethics, which warns against dual relationships. If you are a current or former CTSA patient, any other relationship would fall under this ethical guideline. The guideline is designed to protect patients from the possibility that a second type of relationship could impair objectivity, competence, or effectiveness in providing treatment to you, or could negatively affect the Research Intern relationship as a result of the patient relationship.
